10 THINGS THAT WEALTHY, EMOTIONALLY STRONG ENTREPRENEURS DO

Secrets Of High- Achieving Happy Entrepreneurs

As an entrepreneur, you have undoubtedly faced challenges that tested your emotional resilience. Building and scaling a successful business is not an easy feat, and it requires more than just knowledge and skills. It requires emotional strength and endurance, the ability to bounce back from setbacks, and the determination to keep moving forward. In this article, I’ll be unpacking 10 things that wealthy and emotionally strong entrepreneurs do differently.

1) THEY ARE PROACTIVE ABOUT THEIR MENTAL HEALTH.

Emotionally strong entrepreneurs know that their mental health is just as important as their physical health. They take the time to prioritize self-care and seek help when they need it, whether that means talking to a therapist, practicing meditation, or taking a day off to recharge. This also means that they prioritize building mental toughness by doing hard things daily and increasing their capacity to hold emotions like fear and discomfort. They understand that resting is just as important as doing the work.

2) THEY EMBRACE FAILURE AS A LEARNING OPPORTUNITY.

Failure is a natural part of the entrepreneurial journey, and emotionally strong entrepreneurs know that. They don’t let setbacks define them or discourage them from pursuing their goals. Instead, they view failure as an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. Failure points them to an improved action plan and their experience compounds over time. They know that they’re either winning or learning and that there’s no such thing as true failure unless they stop trying altogether.

3) THEY SURROUND THEMSELVES WITH SUPPORTIVE PEOPLE.

Success isn’t a one-person show, and emotionally strong entrepreneurs know that they can’t do it all alone. They build a mastermind of mentors who believe in their vision and provide encouragement, guidance, and constructive feedback. They’re not afraid to ask for help when they need it and most wealthy entrepreneurs have built their success by standing on the shoulders of the mentors who came before them. They readily invest in opportunities to get into proximity with those who play a bigger business game than they do and they’re not afraid to be the smallest person in the room.

4) THEY PRIORITIZE THEIR TIME AND ENERGY.

Emotionally strong, wealthy entrepreneurs understand the value of time and energy. They don’t waste either on tasks or people that don’t align with their goals or values. They prioritize what’s most important and delegate or eliminate everything else. They value speed above all else and readily invest in opportunities that will bring them closer to their goals on a shorter timeframe.

5) THEY SET REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS.

Entrepreneurship is a long game, and emotionally strong entrepreneurs know that success doesn’t happen overnight. They set realistic expectations for themselves and their business, and celebrate small wins along the way. They know that their daily actions compound over time to create monumental results and they’re committed to doing the work.

6) THEY WALK WITH ONE FOOT IN GRATITUDE AND ONE FOOT IN DESIRE.

Emotionally strong entrepreneurs cultivate a sense of gratitude for what they have, rather than focusing on what they lack. They cultivate a strong energy of appreciation and are able to hold the energy of gratitude for what they have already received and achieved while holding the energy of expectation and excitement around their next level desires. They walk with one foot in gratitude and one foot in desire.

7) THEY ARE MASTERS AT MANAGING THEIR EMOTIONS.

Emotionally strong entrepreneurs understand the power of their emotions. They are able to manage their feelings and remain calm and composed under pressure. They know how to channel their emotions in a positive way to fuel their success and they become masters at seeking out tools to regulate both their nervous systems and emotions to ensure that they’re able to shift from “in a rut” to “resourceful” with grace and speed.

8) THEY STAY LASER FOCUSED ON THEIR GOALS.

Successful entrepreneurs stay laser-focused on their goals. They know what they want to achieve and create a plan to get there. They remain committed to their vision, even in the face of obstacles and challenges. The plan may shift but the goal posts never do. They hold themselves to a higher standard in life and business.

9) THEY CELEBRATE THEIR SUCCESSES.

Successful entrepreneurs take time to celebrate their successes. They recognize that hard work and dedication are critical to achieving success, and they take pride in their accomplishments. They also use their successes as motivation to keep pushing forward. This means celebrating every single milestone – even the little ones – because they know that the big ‘champagne popping moments’ are really just a culmination of small actions and wins anyways. They don’t wait to hit some arbitrary milestone before they choose to own their worthiness and celebrate themselves.

10) THEY MOVE WITH SPEED.

Wealthy entrepreneurs move with speed. This means that they move through heavy emotions quickly, learn to make decisions faster, and take massive inspired action towards their goals without waiting for the stars to align. They don’t need to be chased or motivated because they burn with intrinsic motivation. They move quickly and adapt as they go because they know that the results they’re looking to achieve come from action – not good ideas. They understand that speed builds momentum and it’s easier to keep a moving object going that get a stuck one into motion.

IN SUMMARY

If you want to thrive in business, you’ll need more than just a rock-solid strategy. You’ll also need a thriving internal landscape to match.
